The Objectives for which UGATCA was established are
The Association is a non-for-profit non-political professional body of Air Traffic Control Officers forming a medium for promoting the quality of Air Traffic Control in general in Uganda and for exchanging ideas between relevant associations within Uganda and internationally.
Create public interest in Aviation and encourage participation in this field throughout Uganda.
Promote better understanding amongst members and other aviation organizations, any other interested parties and en-devour to bring cooperation amongst such groups.
Afford a forum for discussion of aviation problems at large with particular emphasis on Air Traffic Control especially those affecting Uganda , and make the results of such discussions and proposals known to the appropriate authorities, thereafter ensure that they are implemented for the benefit of its members , the public and advancement of aviation generally.
Be ready to offer advice to organizations or individuals on matters which fall within our filed.
